You are a benefit to our community and this wise reflection which expresses your humility and your clear desire to contribute to the lives of people around you, is an inspiration to me.
Thank you for your short heartfelt post.

Thank you Jerry for the sensitive words you wrote here at the WBW.
The Empathy Gathering program is already complete and I will send it to you next week.
We are going to have a terrific Celebration!
Empathy, Wellbeing and Happiness.
Say it to John De'Graff, so he could be here with us.

Thanks for the Post Pepin. It would be so wonderful if some of our WLWB people would join us in Guadalajara. I can insure them of a wonderful and inspiring time with you and others in beautiful Guadalajara. The 7 Empathy Gatherings are among the fondest memories of my lifetime. I will always be so grateful to you and Jo Ellen and everyone else to have let me participate. We will see you in July in Guadalajara and once again be with the most gracious, loving and inspirational people on the planet.

Thanks for sharing your insights, Kimberly!

I myself struggled health-wise at the end of the last year due to rather challenging loads of work and taking care of my family/home-

"No thanks" and "delegation" are my challenges this year!

Now I know where my boundaries are to keep my wellbeing - both mentally and physically.

Wonderful information and reminders, Mei Lin. I would even say, just the simple reminder to breathe is perhaps most important, as that Oxygen is the most important to our life force and the simple act of breathing and being aware of the breathe can calm us back into our best thinking.

Thank you.

Thanks Mei Lin for a wonderful post including the art work. Very nice. I really liked the words:

"And the answer came – because we cannot look ahead alone. It has to be done with others, in a group, where we can balance ourselves out – recognizing the see saw is always in motion, sometimes I’m up and sometimes you are down."

I so very much feel that and you put it so succinctly.

Thanks for sharing your experience of overwhelm, Mei Lin. I "hit the wall" last year after months of nearly ceaseless business travel, and experienced a meltdown as a result. Physically and mentally exhausted, I was not the person I strive to be. Of course I had to own up to the fact that my exhaustion was a result of my failure to assert my boundaries. Stress is a choice, and as much as I tended to blame others for "doing it to me", I had chosen this.

This year I am experimenting with setting clear boundaries, being more "selfish" . . . that is being concerned as much for my own wellbeing as that of others, and saying "No thanks!" I'm using a handy phrase to make decisions in the present moment . . . "Be kind to my future self."

Every day I am tempted to overload myself with life's many fascinating possibilities. Choosing "spaciousness" requires daily vigilance. Thanks for the provocative images in your posts! They made your points so vividly!
